We are currently fundraising to help build a much needed maternity hospital for the poor in rural Sunamgong, Bangladesh.

Over 75% of women in Bangladesh give birth at home. In rural Bangladesh, mothers and babies are dying needlessly because they cannot afford basic maternity care.

Pregnancy and giving birth can be a stressful and difficult time as it is, without additional complications and money worries. So, please give the poorest and the marginalised women from that part of the world the same chance as those who can afford to give birth safely and enjoy motherhood.

Great progress has been made already thanks to previous fundraising projects and the kindness and generosity of many donors. Now the maternity clinic construction is in its second phase, which requires further help and support to ensure that it is completed and can deliver an essential service to the needy women of that community.
