Thanks for visiting the amazing #TeamSands-Bristol team's fundraising page raising money in support of the St Michael's Hospital Consultation Room Project.

Bristol Sands is committed to providing good bereavement care and support to anyone affected by the loss of a baby. We feel that all parents who experience the loss of their much longed for baby, should be treated with care and respect. We want there to be facilities in place to provide parents with the private space they may need, and to be able to have access to support material.

With these aims in mind, we would like to fund the refurbishment of a consultation room within St Michael's Hospital, Bristol. The room, located within the Early Pregnancy Unit, will be used for difficult discussions and to give parents a quiet and comfortable space while making tough decisions or hearing that they have lost their baby.

#TeamSands-Bristol are absolutely committed to raising the money needed for this really important project. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your kind donation, however small, can really help and will make such a difference to the bereavement care provided by St Michael's Hospital, thank you so much.

All funds raised on this page or #TeamSands-Bristol team pages linked to it, will all be jointly supporting activities linked to the core charitable aims of Sands.

All the funds raised will be designated for the purpose of St Michael's Hospital Consultation Room Project. Once this project is fully funded and it’s £5,500 target reached, any excess will be spent where the need is greatest, helping Sands to continue to deliver its vital services to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, to improve the bereavement care received by parents and families, and to promote research to reduce the number of babies dying.
