We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thank you for visiting TEAM SCAMP'S (Cara Yapp's!) Race for Life sponsorship page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online – it’s quick, easy and totally secure.

Cara Yapp (who lots of you will know as Scamp, hence the team name!) was recently diagnosed with a rare type of bone cancer called Ewing's Sarcoma at only 26.  She is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment, before surgery and further chemotherapy.

Lesley (Goose!) - Cara's mum, Thalia - Cara's sister, Anna - Cara's best friend, Gillie - Anna's mum, Corinne - Cara's aunt, and friends: J, Sian, Karen, Rachel, Kathy & Jo are all running (jogging or walking!) to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. Without such funding, Cara's cancer may never have been diagnosed or treated as quickly.  By sponsoring us now you can help more people survive cancer.

Gift Aid it!

If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating so that an extra 25%, plus a 3% supplement, can be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Every pound you donate really does make a difference – so please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support – Together we will beat cancer.
