Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for GamesAid.

Follow in the footsteps of Glen Hoddle, Mike Summerbee and, er, Danny Invincible and play football at Swindon Town’s County Ground and raise money for GamesAid.

GamesAid is giving people the opportunity to play football at the home of Swindon Town FC. Courtesy of EA and The Games Tribe, we have the pitch and officials for a full game on the afternoon of Friday, May 20. Kick-off is due to be at 2pm.

For just £25 you can play football with other games industry members on a Football League pitch, with proper kits, refs and changing rooms. You can even have a drink in the bar afterwards (although you’ll need to pay for that!) and bring fans to try and fill some of the 14,700 capacity.

It’s on a strictly first come, first play basis, although if you don’t think you can last a full 90 minutes you can split the fee with someone else and share the game with them.

Just donate your money then let Rich Keith (rich@thegamestribe.com) know your details and preferred position.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
