On 25th September 2021 a group of Chris Rimmer’s closest friends will be undertaking the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge.  This is a 24 mile hike up the 3 highest peaks in Yorkshire - The aim is to complete the walk in under 10 hours. Many of the participants have never undertaken a challenge like this before.

Many people doing the walk have grown up with Chris and it is heartbreaking to see what he & many others including Stephen Darby are going through. We feel this is the least we can do to help raise awareness and hopefully eventually find a cure. Any donations are massively appreciated.

About the charity

Former Liverpool, Bradford City and Bolton Wanderers footballer Stephen Darby and close friend and British Forces Veteran Chris Rimmer have partnered together to launch the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation. Stephen and Chris both have Motor Neurone Disease and have created a Foundation to create awareness of MND, to fund and assist research into the illness with the quest of finding a cure for the illness, to raise funds and offer grants to those with MND, as well as creating a network to help provide information and emotional support network for those diagnosed with the disease.
