Two guys with two cars and two big hearts started The Turkey Truck in 1998 to help provide a good meal on Thanksgiving for folks that needed it. Since then, The Turkey Truck has grown to provide 100% of the protein Pine Street puts on its tables year-round. Your contribution will support bulk purchases of protein that will provide much needed nourishment to the many men and women in our emergency shelters. All of us at Pine Street Inn are grateful for your generosity. In 2019, supporters of the Turkey Truck helped provide: 74,595 pounds of protein for 228,047 meals 100% of all protein served to shelter guests for the entire year, after starting with just a few turkeys on Thanksgiving Day.
