Story

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PUT THE FULL NAME OF THE FRIEND YOU ARE SPONSORING. The Great Bedon Hill challenge is taking part on Sat May 12th 2012.It is a swim, cyle and run and we want it to be fun for all the competitors.Fancy dress to make us laugh, Sunshine to cheer our spirits and prizes galore. This challenge is for Henry.

Henry died 23rd December 2010 aged 27. He was cared for so beautifully at Guys hospital London for the last few weeks of his life surrounded by the Drs and nurses who had been with him throughout his diagnosis and treatment of leukaemia. However many patients are not so lucky. They can die alone on a busy ward where the emphasis is understandably about saving lives and treating illnesses. Hospices provide a calm caring place where both patients and their families can recieve support .We want to raise as much money as possible for St.Richards hospice to enable the valuable work it does to continue.

PLEASE PLEASE sponsor your friend and remember the more money they raise the more chance they have of winning a fabulous prize on the big day. Make sure you write their whole name as well as yours when you donate and please accept our sincere thanks. We know how money is tight for all of us at the moment so any ammount however small is appreciated. If you dont know anyone taking part in the challenge please feel free to donate!!

Many many thanks from Rowan (Henrys mother) and all the Bredon Fundraising team. Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
