Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2013, two days after her second birthday, my wonderful niece Lizzy Bremer was taken from us to Neuroblastoma; a type of children's cancer. I have watched in awe as so many friends and family have run marathons, cycled, and even hiked across the Arctic tundra in memory of Lizzy, raising awareness and helping fund further research and care for children affected by cancer. Great Ormond Street Hospital looked after Lizzy back in 2013, I would like to do my bit to help them continue the fantastic care and support they offer to children and their families.

This September Maija and I will be taking part in the Berlin Marathon, and with your encouragement we shall run/crawl/fall over the finish line 26 miles later. I'll also be running the Richmond Park 10 mile run on Sunday June 4th, and a few others over the summer months which I shall add as I go. This will be my first marathon, so any donations you can afford towards such a good cause will surely help motivate me to get off my arse and out running for Lizzy B!
