This year is the 20th anniversary of mum's death. I have decided to mark this occasion and celebrate her life by cycling from Ilfracombe in Devon (her birthplace) to Edinburgh where she lived so happily for over 20 years before she died in 1994. I will be setting off on August 15th aiming to reach Edinburgh 9 (or10!) days later

Mum was instrumental in helping to set up the Scottish Child Law Centre, a charity that provides young people and their families with free legal advice and support. The charity has gone from strength to strength since mum was involved. By raising money for SCLC we will, in a small way, be helping people to carry on work that Ruth started during her short life.
