Story

My name is Samantha Breslauer (14 years old). This July, over a 5 day period I am attempting to climb several challenging alpine routes in Chamonix and hopefully I will complete Dent du Geant, after training very hard for the past 6 months.

I am hoping to raise with your help a significant sum of £10,000 for: 1. Great Ormond Street Hospital, and 2. Work in Nepal with the Schools and communities we have supported for many years (You choose how to allocate!)

Great Ormond Street Hospital changes the lives of sick children and their families from across the globe. As an example, £1,000 could pay for a life-saving heart and lung bypass machine. Imagine what £10,000 can do for these children in need.  With your help, we can achieve this tremendous goal.

As well as supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital, I am kindly asking you to help us rebuild lives in Nepal. More than ever they need water, power and all support you can give to recover after tragic Earthquake. Funding continues to be provided to support the work of Seppi Enzio of Algna, Italy, our close friend and experienced mountaineer and guide, who, for many years has been helping the poor villages in the valleys.

His plan for this Fall is to rebuild the school in Seedowa, built some years ago, maintenance of the damaged water infrastructure in Mullgau and in Seedowa including repairing the 2 water systems we built 3 years ago, and depending on the money collected, rebuilding a part of the school in Gola, built last year, and repair and finish the water system in Honggong.

With respect to Nepal, please make your pledge via natalie@patroncapital.com and Natalie can follow up with wire instructions for the appropriate bank account.  It’s important to note that 100% of your money will go directly to help. Seppi and team volunteer all of their time for this very worthy cause.

Thank you all very much for all your help and support!
