Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGivingpage

You may know that I was diagnosed with TB over Christmas which was a major shock. I had my BCG immunisation so it was the last thing i expected. 

I began treatment immediately and started a course of aggressive medication that left me extremely weak and had a wide range of awful side effects.

My 'active' status is over, thanks to treatment, however following recent tests, it appears that i have been resistant to part of the medication and the TB is still in my lungs. I will need at least another 9 months of treatment, when hopefully it will be gone.

I have lost so much strength and stamina during this first round of treatment, but im not letting it beat me. My dear lungs are now getting a good daily pounding from lots of exercise. 

I entered Tough Mums to show TB that its not winning - and also to make my family proud!

I have chose TB Alert as they gave me so much support and information when i was diagnosed. It was also through them that i was put in contact with a support network of others who had been through the same thing. 

Please, give what you like, i know we are all skint!
