I was saddened and shocked to hear to that a Saint Francis Hospice Retail van was stolen in the early hours of Wednesday morning. (6th Jan)

The Ford Transit Luton Van was stolen from the driveway of the driver of the van, who is a member of staff and lives in Cranham. The vans are used to collect donated items that they sell  in their shops, as well as the delivery of large and bulky items to customers.  

Let’s show Saint Francis Hospice they have lots of support, and raise funds so that they can continue to work in the community

I have been really annoyed to see so many thefts and burglaries reported in recent weeks in Upminster and Cranham.  This morning seeing that the Hospice van had been stolen I felt as a community we need to act and do something to show we care because St Francis Hospice are at the heart of our community and I am sure have helped so many of us though some of the darkest and saddest times we have ever faced.  I recently lost my dad to cancer and The Hospice helped us get through some terrible times and were there until the end: Angels!  They have provided support and kindness to us, giving us light when all we saw was darkness.

Let us show we care and stick two fingers up at the thieves who should be ashamed of themselves and are a disgrace! . Let's give something back to the community we love and are all a part of!
