Story
We don't like to post for the sake of posting: BBC recently released a
documentary on Bangladesh "The Rohingya children trafficked for sex."
In fact, these are £1 girls. Please read on:
Almost a year ago we raised issues with regards to "child sextrafficking" in London at Al-Manar Centre; born as a result of mishandling the refugee situation in Bangladesh. Such issues are still on going as there are thousands of camps spread across Coxes Bazar. Apart from a handful of camps many are a breeding grounds for child sex trafficking by sex-trafficking syndicates. The availability of young children at such time high (many children wilfully enter into this industry just to provide for their families as Rohingya men aren't allowed to work in Bangladesh,) while others are threatened and raped until subjugated; the money earned is enough to provide for a meal, and that's less than £1. As a result tourism has seen a sharp rise in this region, alone. Hotels/accommodations are catering for this industry. Child sex all time high!
How do we end this? By taking care of their families. As for girls subjugated, we provide shelter for them.
So remember, the next time you spend £1 on sweets. In fact what can we even buy with £1 in the UK? These young girls (13, 14, 15, 16...) shouldn't have to be £1 girls! No woman should have a price. If you agree please share this post! And… Donate (even as little as a pound).
