The MS Therapy Centre Lothian is a small independent charity which has been
working with and for, people living with Multiple Sclerosis, across the Lothians,
Borders and South Fife since 1984. We provide friendly hands-on practical support
services and therapies for people living with MS, their families and carers. Our
clients have access to specially designed, and individually focused self-management
information, advice, therapies and support.
Our focus is on building our clients confidence, self- efficacy and control which has
a positive effect on the management of their MS and feelings of general health
and wellbeing. Essentially we aim to support our clients and their families/carers to
remain independent, socially and economically active for longer.
We also support people with other long-term conditions, such as Parkinson’s,
ME/CFS, Arthritis, and Fibromyalgia, providing access to our Oxygen Treatment,
complementary therapies and specialist physiotherapy service.
Our Vision: To deliver co-ordinated, holistic and person–centred support services
and therapies to people living with MS assisting them to make informed decisions
about their lives.
Our Mission: to empower and enable people living with MS to actively manage their
daily lives.
