This all started out as a drunken, beer fuelled joke in the pub when 3 middle aged men decided they wanted to set themselves a challenge to stave of their mid live crises' and also raise some money for great causes.

It's now become a giant physical and logistical challenge in which we are attempting to be the first people in history to cross mainland UK from coast to coast in a pedalo of the very same design as you would use in your local park.

We aim to travel from Fort William to Inverness in two pedalos in 4 days - a journey of some 90 miles - and will have to contend with the challenges of open water, waves, middle aged spread and the Loch Ness Monster.

We'll keep you up to speed on our progress via Facebook, Twitter and Linked in but in the meantime we'd very much appreciate your supporting us in our efforts to raise money for the Princes trust and the Stroke Association by donating whatever you can.
