Story
Thank you so much for visiting my page. On the 12th, 13th and 14th July 2019, I am part of an 8-person team from St. Hugh of Lincoln RC Church in Letchworth, aiming to walk 55 miles, with 17000 ft of ascent and 26 peaks over three days. We are basically covering most of the Lake District.
I am not an experienced trekker, but I will be surrounded by some veterans from previous fund raising efforts. I'm currently suffering from a dodgy hip but I'm determined to complete the challenge.
We will be raising funds for the KiSS charity, which is one of the main charities supported by St Hugh's and my son's school. KiSS (Kiddies Support Scheme) works in Uganda to support vulnerable children, their families and their communities. It does this by providing funding for education; medical treatment; families that care for orphaned children or are in difficult circumstances; support for young mothers and social outreach projects.
I am very grateful for any donation you can afford, it really will change a child's life in Uganda. All encouragement is gratefully received - send us a message on twitter #Walk4KiSS @KiSS_Charity
