Story
Hey everyone! Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.
This October, I will be taking part in the Great South Run for my charity, The Rose Road Association. Last year, I ran in the 5km version of the race where I raised over £350 and this year, I want to raise at least that target once again!
Rose Road are a charity close to my heart as they helped me when I was younger as well as my two brothers who both have Downs Syndrome. They offer playscheme sessions, days out and offer residential respite to give parents a break from their daily routines.
My family and I couldn't be more grateful for Rose Road's help. I've been a carer for the past 12 years which is a demanding job. However, I wouldn't change it for the world. My brothers, Eric and Joe, always enjoy their time at Rose Road along with the other children who visit The Bradbury Centre in Aldermoor.
I've got a training plan in place for the big day (26th October) and I WILL complete it! I've had knee problems over the past few months but I'm more than confident I can raise a lot of money and finish the race.
It would mean a lot to me, my family, and everybody associated at Rose Road if you can help me reach my target as the money will be used to improve the lives of many disabled children in Hampshire.
Thank you for your support!
