Story
I am a ceramic artist working mainly with porcelain and I have given myself the challenge of creating a dish a day, experimenting with textures and techniques. One dish a week will be chosen at random and offered for sale to raise money for Wallace and Gromit's Grand Appeal.
Before having children, I worked as a sculptor and model-maker for Aardman Animations, on films such as 'Wallace and Gromit-Curse of the Wererabbit' and 'Chicken Run' I had my second child, Isla last year and at the maternity hospital it was discovered that she has a heart murmur, which has turned out to be a pulmonary stenosis, a narrowing of one of the valves in her heart. Although happy and healthy the condition has been monitored and we make regular trips to the Bristol Childrens' Hospital. I can only imagine what it must feel like to have a child with a serious health problem. It feels good to give something back!
