If you have entered my fundraising page then by now you have read my email and should be aware of my K2 challenge.

K2 is the 2^nd highest mountain in the world, towering just over 8,600m in one of the most inhospitable terrains. This expedition of mine will take about 3 weeks and will take us to K2 Base Camp which is approx. 5,500m. To achieve this I have already started to change my lifestyle (which means less of my ‘fresh air’ breaks during the day!) to get fit, but a bigger challenge is to raise £5000 target for a worthy cause.

I’ve always believed that for a developing country, education is the only long-term solution that can bring people out of the cycle of poverty and give them a chance of building a brighter future. I live in a country where the education is free and even taken for granted. Help me to ensure that this is not just a dream for children in a nation (Pakistan) where half of them will never see the inside of a school.
