Story
Charity of the year 2017
On Sunday 16 September I will
be running the English Half Marathon, here in Warrington, in aid of a local charity called the Shannon Bradshaw Trust.
Shannon Bradshaw sadly lost her life to a condition called Aplastic Anaemia 16 years ago aged just 7 years old.
Shannon survived for only 5 months after her diagnosis on Feb 2002. Since then her parents, Patti and Alan, have worked tirelessly to help other children and their families who find themselves in similar situations throughout the North West. A link to their website detailing the fantastic work they do is here: http://shannonstrust.org.uk/
In just under 8 weeks’ time I will pull on my green running vest, emblazoned with Shannon’s photograph, and run the 13.1 miles in memory of this little girl and to try and raise vital funds for her parents and their amazing charity. If you are able to spare any pennies to help me along the way it would be much appreciated.
My just giving page is below
and this charity is eligible for the Bank’s matched fundraising initiative.
