Story
Last year I ran the Great North Run for the first time for my niece Chloe and for the charity Clic Sargeant who supported Chloe through her battle of cancer.
That day will always be very special to me not only for my own achievement but because Chloe surprised me and came along which motivated me around the course.
This year it will be hard as she won't be there cheering me on but I am sure she will be with me in spirit and she will motivate me every step of the way - she will always be my inspiration. I will be running that race that day for Chloe in her memory.
On the 19th September 2010 I will be joining Team Boundary by participating in the Great North Run again to help Boundary Mill achieve their 2010 Charity Appeal Target of £100,000 for Pendleside Hospice.
Pendleside Hospice deliver specialist care for cancer sufferers and its aim and purpose is to promote the quality of life for each individual and his or her family and carers.
The Hospice rely purely on donations, so to help them continue with their good work, I am hoping to raise them some cash.
All donations are gratefully appreciated.
