Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are raising money in for Marie Curie in memory of Jay & Paddy's mum, Sheila, a retired teacher, who passed away in the Solihull hospice on 11 September 2011, aged 71.

She went in to The Marie Curie Hospice in Solihull on the 4th August and died five weeks later on 11th September.

It had been said that with the right initial prognosis and treatment from early on in her illness, mum could have had up to an extra five years, but because she was diagnosed late, her time was dramatically reduced.

This extra time would have been so precious as Mum adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

She is missed greatly by all who had the fortune to call her their friend but she is missed mostly by us, her children and grandchildren

We, Team Rainbow (Jay, Pad and long time family friend Aron Adams) have set ourselves the "enviable" task of cycling over 1000 miles in order to raise much needed funds for this incredible charity.

Please dig as deep as you can and donate as much as possible.
