Story

We'd love your support! Text SIAZ55£10 to 70070 to sponsor us today. Thanks.

4 years ago four former Olympians and one future Olympian completed a 400 kilometre cycle challenge across Zambia in a 45 degree Celsius heat to raise money for The Perfect Day Foundation supported sports NGO, Sport In Action. The money raised has funded the building and running of 5 multi-purpose sports courts in Zambia. These courts have been used as a platform to deliver HIV education to thousands of children and youth. We would like to raise the profile and building of more facilities. We believe in the need and amazing use of these facilities in creating opportunities to educate the young people in Zambia in life skills and HIV education.

And so to our new challenge, headed by World Record holder and Olympic Gold Medalist, World Champion, Commonwealth Gold Medalist and European Gold Medalist swimmer, Adam Peaty, and former Olympian and now successful Swim coach Mel Marshall, former Olympian Joanne Jackson and former Olympian Ross Davenport. The team will complete a 5 day endurance sports challenge. 5 days sports marathon, 5 different sports 12 hour marathon with a final day completing a 12 hour triathlon.
