Right...

So this year I set myself a target on the bike for 2 reasons, firstly because having the twins meant there was a good chance of getting fat and not exercising, secondly I quite like to aim for something big and the wife won't let me have a 3 week break in France this summer.

This led me to find the Wiggle Etape Cymru Sportive, a pretty tough cycling event based in the north of Wales and with over 7800 feet of climbing (for non cyclists thats the tough uphill bit) over 88 miles. Yes I have ridden 88 miles before (not often though) and yes I have ridden up quite a few little hills around Staffordshire but none compare to some of these. But it also led me to now my third and most important reason I should use this experience to help raise money for those who really need it!
