As indicated in our invitation, the most important thing is that you are able to come and celebrate our marriage with us and we genuinely do not want anyone to feel obliged to give us a gift.  We did, however, think this would be a nice opportunity to make a (hopefully) substantial donation to a worthwhile cause, Francis House. 

  

Francis House is a children’s hospice based in Didsbury which provides care for children and young adults suffering from life threatening conditions.  Francis House relies on donations in order to keep its services running and at a cost of £222 per day for essentials such as electricity and water, this doesn't come cheap.  Therefore, in the event you do wish to give a gift, we would be grateful if you would instead make a donation to Francis House via this site or alternatively by cash or by cheque (made payable to Francis House) on the day of our wedding.
