More than 100,000 people in the UK have the debilitating condition Multiple Sclerosis, including some very dear friends.  I'd like to raise £2,000 to help the MS Society fund research and support for people like them. 

18 months ago, I couldn't run a mile, so I made a public commitment to run a half marathon so I wouldn't be able to back out of getting fit.  I felt on top of the world when I finished - and then got knocked off my bike, injured my back and couldn't run again for 6 months.  So it has been touch and go whether I would be able to take on this next challenge. But, when the MS Society called to say they had a place for me, I took it as a sign that I would get over my injury and said 'yes'.  Training is going well, so please help me reach my target for this fantastic charity.
