Story

Hi Guys!

On the 10th of October, a team of eight fantastically daring dynamos are going to jump out of a plane at 13,000 feet to raise funds for Skanda Vale Hospice!

Many people suffering with Cancer, MS, Muscular Dystrophy and other terminal or life-limiting illnesses tell us how much Skanda Vale Hospice has helped them to cope. We provide a lifeline of social, practical, emotional and spiritual support, completely free of charge.

We want to help MORE people, for LONGER – so this December we will be opening a brand new, state of the art respite and end-of-life unit, to run alongside our existing day care unit.

This is a crucial year for the hospice as these new services will enable us to provide highly attentive holistic care from the point of diagnosis until the patient’s final moments. Our services will be delivered in a peaceful homely environment, with expert palliative nursing and all the necessary resources to hand.

By sponsoring me you support our work to help more people and their families experience the dignity, care and love that they need during the most traumatic period of their lives.

On behalf of all the patients, carers and families at Skanda Vale Hospice – THANK YOU!!!
