Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.  A fund has been set up in Sophie's name to support CLIC Sargent.

Sophie was diagnosed with Leukaemia in October 2012 at the age of 10.

Sophie, a fit and very active 10 year old, enjoyed many activities such as Gymnastics, Tramponlining, learning to play the guitar and more recently the piano and joining the local youth theatre at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham.

Sophie's diagnosis meant that she is now unable to enjoy these activities as much as she used to. When she is feeling well she continues with her guitar lessons and is working towards her first grade; she goes to her local theatre group, where they are busy rehearsing for the musical 'Guys and Dolls' and she sometimes goes to gymnastics where she is able to do low level exercise.

Sophie's friends have been a tremendous support to her and have continued to encourage her and let her know that they are all still here for her.

As a result of Sophie's diagnosis, family and friends have started raising money for CLIC-Sargent; some friends of Sophie's have sold their old toys; another went busking on a very cold, rain-soaked evening and is now organising a music concert; her Uncle is running 10k to support her and neighbours completed the Hell of the North Cotswolds cycle ride.

Any support you can give to CLIC-Sargent, will be most welcome.  Why not organise your own event to raise some money to show your support to Sophie on her journey.
