Hello there -

I'm fundraising for Voluntary Service Overseas' International Citizen Service project (VSO ICS). They're sending me to Tanzania this summer to spend three months working with a local community on education projects aimed at improving living standards and access to rights, and this is where I need your help:

For the price of a coffee, a t-shirt, a weekend break or a birthday present, we're able to help VSO run community-centred services globally.

VSO ICS wants to initiate and sustain change, and funds a mixture of UK and local volunteers to learn and assist with this process. Their projects are a double win - both for the community, and for the volunteers. The former will be choosing and collaborating on a project they feel is needed, and the latter, including people like me, will be able to learn about how to genuinely work towards change and addressing principal issues of poverty and cultural relations.

This all leads straight back to you too, as we're part of a global community, and the wondrous cyclical state of things means that you'll be helping projects to run in countries all over the world, and these experiences will feed into how youth understand and tackle change right here in Europe too.

So please help me fundraise £800 for VSO! Every donation will go a massive way towards this target, towards VSO's work towards attaining development goals, and towards the larger issues of inequalities, poverty and human rights - any amount will genuinely contribute to change!
