Action Duchenne exists to support, empower and equip every DMD community in their journey from diagnosis and beyond.

Story

Raising funds and raising awareness for causes that are close to your heart are both equally important.

So too is aiming to inspire people through action as well as spoken and written word.

What are we doing?

On August 25th this year, we begin a trek to the summit Mount Kilimanjaro in support of Action Duchenne, the charity for a rare type of Muscular Dystrophy that the child of Lee's very close friend Vicki has (Korben is featured in the photos).

If you haven't heard of the condition we are very glad you are reading this! :)

The Team

From left to right in the picture we have Dr Huw Dylan, War Studies lecturer at King's College London, Lee Steggles Strength & Conditioning Coach and Personal Trainer at King's College London, Christopher Gribble, mega-keen climber and Jedi of the Scottish Highlands and last but not least Liam Myron, Polymath.

What can you amazing people do to help?

If you can donate on this page that would be great. Every pound really does help.

We are really looking forward to the climb. With only a few weeks left to go, we are now going through the final physical and mental preparations for the climb.

Knowing we have your support will be a big boost to help us get to the top of Mt. Kili.

Thank you!

Lee, Liam, Chris & Huw.
