A Little About Me

I started at St John Cymru Wales as a cadet some 11 years ago and originally joined to complete one of my sections of the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award. I had loved it from the start and remained enjoying the various amazing events I have been able to cover.

I successfully became cadet sergeant before getting too old for cadets, which was a great experience and had shown me my passion to help train others. I have been involved supporting the training of the youth section of my local division for nearly 8 years and have seen many develop in successful adults.

I can’t say how excited and proud I am to be provided with the opportunity of a life time to support the Welsh Cadet team as a youth leader in Hong Kong. The experience will be a life changing one for me, on the grounds of being able to see a different culture, but more importantly to help our Welsh team win.

I need your help to undertake this challenge however, I need help to raise £1750 in order to attend and support the team. While I am there, you will be kept up to date of what we are up to on the trip and its activities as well as looking to inspire others to follow the similar opportunities in the future.
