Last year we decided that as a family we have a strong passion for walking so why not prove it.  Upon visiting St Bees we realised this is the starting point to the Wainwright Coast to Coast Walk.  This is a 192 mile walk from the Irish Sea to North Sea across Lake District, Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales.

We decided to do the long walk for charity and after seeing how fantastic King David High School work so closely with Merseyside Youth Association it was easy to select this as our choice on charity.

Looking into MYA we feel helping young people in many ways is incredibly valuable especially when today investment in these areas are challenged.  The work and effect to help all kinds of young people to grow, respect and learn is so fundamentally important that it inspires every step we take on this long journey.
