We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

Hello. In September 2014 I was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia. I am 'young' to have this. I am very fortunate that at the moment I am able to live a really good life.
Dementia is not just about memory loss.
I am affected in that my ability to do mental arithmetic is gone, my concentration levels are very low and my sense of direction has gone. I tend to repeat myself a lot and I get very tired.

I want to do as much as possible (while I am still able ) to raise awareness and fundraise for research in the hope that one day there will be a cure for this awful disease. This is a real challenge for me, I am not someone who has ever said that i would love to run a marathon! So I would appreciate any support you can give me. Many thanks.
