I will help raise essential funds to continue the vital work that Media Trust does to empower charities and communities to have a voice and be heard. Your support will help:

• young people like Khalid who finally secured his first paid job after taking part in a Media Trust youth media initiative, after years of having gone down the wrong path;

• charities like Positive Action on Cancer who, after being matched to one of our media volunteers James Peacock, secured press coverage on BBC radio that directly resulted in £16,000 of new funding to support adults and children affected and bereaved by cancer;

• communities like the older people at Morley Way Community Centre, a sheltered housing estate in St Helens who felt isolated from the outside world. With our training and mentoring support they were empowered to get online for the first time, and now have a thriving online presence.
