We are now going to Costa Rica in November 2015! Pedal For Pride San Francisco (June 15) has been cancelled so we are now signed up to cycle 500km/310 miles from the west coast of Costa Rica to the east coast - seeing sloths and a huge variety of wildlife, cycling through rain forest, banana plantations and around volcanoes - should be excellent. The down side? Camping! Not looking forward to that bit but the rest will more than make up for it :-)

Why Stonewall?    As gay people we recognse we're the closest we've ever been to achieving EQUALITY. But, society takes time to catch up so whilst young people are still afraid to come out at school; while people still fear the consequences of being OUT at work; and while violence is still directed towards us because of who we love we need Stonewall. In Powys, we'll soon start working with Stonewall on the Education Champions programme which will help support the local authority to support young LGBT people in school. We're also working on the Workplace Diversity Champions programme to support LGBT staff. Lots of important work to ensure everyone, whatever their age, gets access to the fair treatment they are now legally entitled to. Of course, all of this costs money so we're doing our bit to help out!
