Story
Running absolutely changed my life, and I've dreamt of doing a marathon for a long time, especially after doing a half in Melbourne early last year. To have the opportunity to do so at the London Marathon, for Disability Law Service, is so awesome.
The Disability Law Service is a unique national charity providing free, confidential, specialist legal advice for disabled people of all impairments and conditions, their families and carers. DLS is the only national charity providing specialist legal advice for disabled people that is managed and controlled by disabled people and those with a direct experience of disability.
Consider any contribution representative of an IOU for a delicious pint the next time we're at a pub together.
On JustGiving: "Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity."
On donating:
- All money raised benefits Disability Law Service, a registered charity
- The cost of my participation, £250, is paid by DLS out of the donations made
- Donations aren't refundable if I get sick or my legs fall off or the event gets cancelled or I start crying before the end (all super unlikely, so don't panic)
- Donations should be made via this page, not to me directly
