Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The fight against cancer goes on. There is none of us who haven’t
been effected by cancer, some more than others. In this heroic battle there are winners and losers, we celebrate the victories and honour those who didn’t win the war.
My own losses have included my grandmother and great friends (Conor and 2 Toms) and last year due to my dodgy knees I walked the Ealing Half Marathon in 2 hs 51 mins and raised £1,200 for Cancer Research.
On 29th September, 2019 I am lacing up my sneakers and doing the Ealing Half Marathon again to raise money this time for LNWH Meadow House Hospice. Established in 1987 by Maria Brennan MBE, Meadow House is a 15 bed facility currently providing care and support to specialist palliative care patients and their families in the London Boroughs of Ealing and Hounslow.
Relations of mine have unfortunately experienced first hand Meadow House Hospice. Unfortunate but forever thankful to the nurses and staff at Meadow House for the tender care and support given to their loved one and them as a family at their most difficult time.
Please help me to reach my goal – raise as much as possible for Meadow House Hospice and beat last years time. Thank you Micheal
