We provide a helpline, and webchat service to help prevent suicide in the UK

Story

As some of you may know, my friends and I lost a dear dear friend earlier this year. Lanfranco Gaglione was a kind, beautiful, down to earth, caring, talented, inspirational and warm hearted young man. But this does not bring him justice for the truly amazing person he was.  Lan was one of my oldest friends and in the many years that I knew him, not once do I remember ever meeting him and not getting a warm fuzzy feeling in my stomach at the very sight of his smile.  Lan had that about him. He had an innate ability to make everyone around him smile and feel special, forever putting others before him.

Lan sadly took his own life of the 10 of February 2012 leaving us with a colossal hole in our hearts and the world without an angel.

CALM, the campaign against living miserably, offers young men information when they’re down or in crisis. CALM exist because suicide is one of the biggest killers of young men today. Please donate and together we can help to change this.

I cannot think of anything worse than cycling 70 miles, but for Lan, I would cycle to the end of the world. Details for the events are below and if you happen to be free and fancy joining me at the finish line/landing strip, then I’d love to see you there for a pint, a burger, a cake or just about anything they serve at the local pub. I’m exhausted and very hungry already!
