Story

On the 19th of February 2011, Toks and Sarah will take it off...

"... our hair that is! From afros to bald heads."

Donate on this page if you want us to loose the afros.

Or donate here: justgiving.com/keepiton if you want us to keep the afros...

(disclaimer: we will shave it either way unless we reach our keep-it-on "diamond" target of £5000)

We would like to tell you a little about the worthwhile cause that has inspired us to create this crazy spectacle:

Right now, an estimated 33.3 million people are living with HIV, including millions who have developed AIDS. 370 000 children around the world are born with HIV every year.

It affects people of all ages, rich and poor alike, all races, genders and sexualities – all over the world.

However, by stepping up efforts to provide worldwide prevention, treatment and protection, we can make an AIDS-free generation possible by 2015 (Source: UN Report, Children and AIDS: Fifth Stocktaking Report, 2010).

We both feel very strongly that we can break down the barriers to making this a reality – your contribution means the world to us.

The money we raise with your help will go to AVERT, an international charity, based in the UK, working to avert HIV and AIDS worldwide, through education, treatment and care.

So please dig deep and donate now!

Dedicated to those currently living with HIV/AIDS and in memory of Christopher Adjah who died of AIDS on 10th July 2005.
