Like many charities Winchester Go LD appreciates any donations, and these will be used to help our members with learning disabilities at this important time and in the future. we help our Go LD members on the phone and through social media and It's been four weeks of daily WhatsApp chats, Zoom social groups and activities from Quizzes to Circuits in your Sitting Room

Lucy, mum to Go LD member Anna, says "We are very fortunate to have a ‘life-line’ in Winchester Go LD. The staff have worked extremely hard to continue giving support and create a sense of continuity for the members by setting up online activities which match their normal routine at the Discovery Centre. They have organised online interactive ‘drop-ins’.  They have also set up a Go LD What’s App friendship group so members do not lose their sense of community.  It is lovely to see how much our daughter enjoys and benefits from being regularly reunited with her friends“

 As a small local charity we rely on fundraising and we have sadly had to cancel lots of upcoming events, like our Garden & Craft Fair on 7 May, that raised almost £10,000 last Year.
