Three Peaks, One Cause

Raising money for Cure Usher Syndrome

Cure Usher raises funds for research into finding a cure for Usher syndrome, the leading cause of genetically inherited combined hearing and sight loss worldwide.

Story

In May 2026, we will be completing the National Three Peaks Challenge; climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Yr Wyddfa and completing all three within 24 hours.

Our team: Adam Snowden, Adam Breeze and Connor Fawcus, with Tom Snowden driving and supporting us. We will start on 22nd May 2026 and aim to finish on 23rd May 2026.

This challenge is tough. It means hiking through the night, covering long distances between mountains, and pushing ourselves physically and mentally to complete all three climbs within a single day.

But we’re doing it for a reason that matters far more than sore legs.

We have a close friend living with Usher syndrome, the leading cause of genetically inherited hearing and sight loss. Over time, people with Usher syndrome experience progressive vision loss alongside hearing impairment, dramatically affecting independence and quality of life.

We are taking on this challenge to support Cure Usher Syndrome, a charity dedicated to funding research into treatments and ultimately a cure, while also raising awareness of the condition affecting over 400,000 people worldwide.

Every donation will help fund vital research and bring hope to those living with Usher syndrome and their families.

If you are able to support us, even a small donation can make a real difference.

Thank you for helping us turn three mountains into something meaningful.

Cure Usher Syndrome is a registered charity in England and Wales, number 1181293.
