Myself and my daughter Lucy are running the 5k dash in the dark in aid of the air ambulance. They scooped up my dad when he had his spinal injury back in 2010. Previous to that my dad worked in the summer as a grounds man at Thruxton where the Air ambulance is based following his retirement, so he knew the crew well at that time. My dad sadly passed away in January so this is in his memory.
