Why?

On average NHS staff walk just under 4 miles every shift as they provide care 24 hours a day 7 days a week to the UK population.

To show our support during the COVID-19 pandemic the soldiers from 1st Regiment Royal Horse Artillery will try to cover in excess of 1000 miles over 7 days.

A non-stop challenge, 24 hours a day for 7 days soldiers from the Regiment will run, jog or walk (anything on two feet counts!) as we see how far we can #MOVE4NHS in 7 days.

1st Regiment are one family, and we want soldiers, family, friends all to get involved. Why not MOVE with us and join us for an hour of the challenge?

Who are we fundraising for?

Salisbury District Hospital Stars Appeal, who help thousands of local people at Salisbury District Hospital to get better faster, return home sooner and have a more positive hospital experience.

First Trust, the regimental charity for 1st Regiment Royal Horse Artillery, which seeks to provide help and financial assistance to serving soldiers, former members of the Regiment and their families; together with support to those that have been injured in the line of duty; and enables serving soldiers to pursue sports, education, and adventurous training.
