Following the launch of the IKO Ultra Specification range as previously advised the team wanted to take on a Ultra Challenge whilst raising money for charity. The IKO BUR sales team will be completing the 3 Peaks Yorkshire Ultra Challenge on 22nd April 2022 for Charity. The two charities that we have chosen are Pilgrims Hospice in memory of our colleague Kate Akers who was a fantastic member of the IKO Technical department and the British Heart Foundation for our colleague James Hoey in memory of his wife Sharon.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks are arranged in a triangle and include Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres) with a total walking distance of 39.2km (24.5 miles) that you need to complete within 12 hours.
