My name is Indira Weaver, I live in Maidenhead and I'm a Mum of two boys, Daniel (10) and Dylan (7).

In January I'm going to Argentina to trek & climb the highest peak in South America, Mount Aconcagua (6,962m) which is of the 7 Summits (the highest point on each continent). In the past I have successfully climbed Kilimanjaro & Elbrus, Mont Blanc & Toubkal, and almost reached the top of Mount Mera in the Himalayas.

Like many people I found the lockdowns very challenging, and needed something to concentrate on. This is how I thought of a project that could benefit my community as well as potentially fulfil one of my dreams. I was also inspired by Captain Sir Tom Moore fundraising campaign!

I'm raising money for The Link Foundation (Marlow) that help children and their families in disadvantaged circumstances regardless of their faith, race and background.

Also I'm raising money for St Piran's School that my boys go to. Normally the school would hold several fundraising events throughout the year and the raised funds would be used to improve the school's facilities and support a number of local charities. Since March 2020 almost all the fundraising events have been cancelled.

St Piran's School and The Link Foundation have been long term partners and I would like to help continue that relationship.
