We are a group of 8 Paramedics based in the East Midlands England, taking on the challenge to complete the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2024, whilst raising vital funds for the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance! The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance (LNAA) is one of the UKs leading Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) Charities, and we are fortunate to have worked alongside their incredible teams on the front line here in the East Midlands. LNAA is funded purely by the generosity of people like yourselves as the service is not part of the NHS or under government funding. At a time when every second counts, the arrival of the iconic yellow helicopter (known as Helimed29) really can mean the difference between life and death. They transport the equivalent of an A&E department to people suffering from the most serious of illnesses and devastating injuries, providing critical treatments as quickly as possible.
