Our Challenge: A Marathon for Macmillan

Five of us—now known as The Questing Quintet—have joined forces for an incredible challenge. On July 5, 2025, we’ll be taking on a marathon along the Jurassic Coast Path to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

This isn’t just any marathon. The Jurassic Coast is a breathtaking but demanding route, filled with rugged cliffs, rolling hills, and stunning sea views. It’s going to test our endurance, but we’re determined to complete it for a cause close to our hearts.

Why Macmillan?

Macmillan Cancer Support does incredible work for people affected by cancer, offering vital medical, practical, and emotional support. Cancer touches so many lives, and we want to do our part to ensure Macmillan can continue their life-changing work.

Every step we take on this challenge is dedicated to those facing the toughest battles. If we can ease even a small part of that struggle by raising funds, every blister and aching muscle will be worth it.

Training and Preparation

With months to go, our training is already in full swing. From weekend hikes to strength training and endurance walks, we’re building up our stamina to tackle the 26.2-mile route. The Jurassic Coast isn’t known for being easy—there are steep climbs, rocky paths, and unpredictable weather—but we’re embracing the adventure!

We’ll be sharing our journey along the way, including training updates, fundraising milestones, and probably a few tales of sore legs and lost bootlaces!
