Thank you to everyone who sponsored us on the Midnight Walk.

Lindsay, Michelle and Chauncy completed the walk in the midst of torrential downpours in 3 hours and 20 minutes. We're still collecting the pennies and pounds but hope to raise more than £200 all together - double our target!

Staff from the Wakefield Express, bullied by reporter Lindsay Pantry and news editor Lisa Bradley, will be joining hundreds of walkers swapping a night on the tiles for a night trekking, taking part in the Wakefield Hospice Midnight Walk 2009.

We will be taking part in a 10-mile trek around the city on Saturday, July 11.

Wakefield Hospice needs to raise £7,220 every single day to meet its running costs.
