THEY ALL COMPLETED THE 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE IN UNDER 24 HOURS.
On behalf of the BB Ltd 3 Peaks Team and all of us at Barrie Beard Ltd, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated to the 3 worthy causes and supported the challengers. Also a big thank you to the drivers, Russell Beard, John Barnes, Kevin Mills, Adam Woodward and Simon Harrod, who ‘ferried’ our team between mountains; the team couldn’t have done it without your support.
All 13 challengers completed the 3 Peaks Challenge in under 24 hrs. They were all exhausted but thrilled to have taken part. The justgiving website is still accumulating dontations but they have smashed through the target of £6k…. Well done to everyone concerned..
" 13 members of staff at Barrie Beard Ltd are, on 29th June 2019, aiming to complete the 3 Peaks Challenge for 3 Charities: SANDS, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, TARGET OVARIAN CANCER and locally for PRIMROSE HOSPICE in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.
They will be climbing Ben Nevis, Scotland's biggest mountain at 1344 meters, Scafell Pike, England's biggest mountain at 978 meters and Snowdon, the biggest mountain in Wales at 1085 meters.
All 3 of our chosen charities have an emotional connection to some of the people who work at Barrie Beard Ltd, and in turn we want to show our support to them by raising as much money as possible.
We are trying to achieve an equal amount of money raised for our 3 charities, so please bear this in mind, if you are kind enough to donate.
