"Together, along with Ovarian Action UK, we are going to be doing a 3 hour Piloxing class on Saturday 19th March at 9.30am at Venue28 in Beckenham to raise awareness for Ovarian Cancer."
Elite Piloxing Instructor, Teresa Malins first heard about Ovarian Action's Box2Beat Cancer last year and new she must get involved. Teresa's Mum was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer 8 years ago so it's for a cause that rests very close to her heart.
Helping organise the event is Chloe Jackson, a fit and healthy 36 year old Piloxing enthusiast who was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer last year.
"We want to raise money to help raise awareness for this disease and let people know that is not just something that affects post menapausal women".
With your help, the scientists at the Ovarian Action Research Centre can fund more innovative and pioneering scientific research: find new, personalised and less- invasive treatment options for women with the disease and promote earlier diagnosis to millions more women and GP's throughout the UK.
Together, we have set a target of £2000.00 which with your help and generosity we will hopefully SMASH.
